Meet Staci

This is StaciStaci Lynn Boyer is an award-winning master trainer with a master of fitness sciences certified through the ISSA and ACE. She is also an author, fitness educator, motivational speaker, wife, and mother. Her experiences span from 12 years as a Navy Hospital corpsman to 20 years in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, media representative, group exercise instructor, and general manager for Bally Total Fitness. Now owning her own business, Motiv8n U Personal Training, she is pursuing a masters degree in social work while preparing for her motivational book due out through Medallion Press in 2010.

After having my first child in my early forties, I was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease. I had surgery to replace a crushed disk in my neck, and the doctor who performed my surgery told me that I had the spine of someone 20 years older. It wasn't a question of if I would ever need surgery again, it was when. I always kept in shape, and used to be an avid runner, competing in several 5K's a year. I wore a 6 petite, and enjoyed an active life style. Approaching middle age, working full time, and having baby number 2 at age 45, I found myself making excuses for not working out. The pounds piled up, and my neck pain returned. When I began working with Staci, I could not lift my left arm over my head, due to another pinched nerve. I could not walk up a flight of stairs without getting out of breath, and hardly had the energy to play with my two little boys. I was at least 20 pounds overweight, and was looking at size 14 clothes. I was facing menopause and another neck surgery. Staci's workouts have made such a difference for me!!! I have more energy, am down a couple of sizes, and best of all, have absolutely NO NECK PAIN. The core strength she speaks of is a reality folks!
